SECURITY SAFETY

Everyone who steps onto property will go through our security checkpoint tent including metal detectors! If you exit the property to return to your car you will need to go back through our security checkpoint. Please look at the items below that will NOT BE ALLOWED on property.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you open if it rains? +

YES! The manor is open rain or shine. The haunted house is indoors and outdoors. The Manor may pause if lightning strikes within 10 miles, but the manor will re-open once our safety team gives the all clear.

How long is the haunted house? +

Hundred Acres Manor is Pittsburgh’s largest haunted house, featuring a terrifying walk-through experience that can last around 40 minutes once you enter the manor doors. How fast will you move? Once you step inside Hundred Acres Manor in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, be prepared to be pulled through a time portal and face your fears in the fog-filled streets of old London, an abandoned hospital, a haunted New Orleans cemetery, a frozen mountainside crawling with snow beasts, and a twisted classic Halloween party where nightmares come to life.

Is the haunted house scary? +

YES! Hundred Acres Manor has been named one of Pennsylvania's  scariest haunted house and was featured on The Travel Channel as "One of America's Scariest Halloween Attractions". We do not recommend anyone under the age of 13 attending our event, unless they are accompanied by a parent. But admission will not be denied due to age.

I got too scared and left early, can I get a refund? +

It is our job to scare you! If you are unable to complete a tour of the manor due to fright then we have done what you have paid us to do. Once your tickets have been scanned, we will not refund your ticket, no exceptions!

Do you have any age restrictions? +

We strongly recommend that children under the age of 13 do not attend our event due to the graphic nature of our attraction including but not limited to shocking scenes, gore, and actor dialog. In other words, we accept no responsibility for scaring or inducing nightmares to your little ones.

Do you accept credit cards? +

Yes, we do accept credit cards at both our ticket booth and merchandise booth. However we do suggest biy

Is Hundred Acres Manor handicap accessible? +

Although we do our best at being ADA compliant, Hundred Acres Manor may not entirely accessible. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. You will never be denied admission and one of our safety coordinators will navigate the depths of the Manor with you and your group to help you bypass any areas that might be difficult for your wheelchair to navigate. Every wheelchair and need is different and our team will always do our best to accomidate any needs you might have.

Do you sell merchandise? +

Yes! We have an on site merchandise booth that sells limited edition shot glasses, hoodies, t-shirts & more. Plus if you get Super VIP or Legendary VIP admission tickets you get free merchandise! (Check ticketing page for items with each ticket level)

How many people enter at a time? +

It varies every night. On slower nights like weekdays (Sunday - Thursday) we run the haunted house at a slower speed and typically you enter with the group you came with (maybe a few new friends) but on weekends you will enter the haunted house in larger groups! But don't worry our actors, staff and safety team are ready for it! We spend months training our actors in the art of scaring for large and small groups!

Hundred Acres Manor is a 501c3 non-profit haunted house located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that not only has been named one of the scariest haunted houses in Pittsburgh and one of the best haunted houses in Pennsylvania but also featured on USA Today, Travel Channel, Forbes and more for being one of the best and safest haunted houses in the nation. Stepping into the Manor doors will lead you into Hollywood qualilty sets, special effects you've never seen in a haunted house and actors just waiting for the next scare. But the fun doesn't stop there, you can add on the black panel insanity maze, midway games, if you're over 21 enjoy a drink in our Scream Bar presented by Cinderlands Beer or even grab a bite to eat from the Franken Fried Food Truck! The show features new upgrades and sets every year making each year different than the next.

Please be reminded of the rules at the Hundred Acres Manor Haunted Attraction are to ensure everyone’s good time and safety. These rules are strictly enforced by security, event staff, and property leadership and a presence by the Allegheny County Police in and around the attraction.

DO NOT ENTER attractions if you’ve consumed alcohol, drugs, medication, wearing casts, braces, or need the use of a crutch.
DO NOT ENTER if you’re not physically fit and able to walk long distances over rough terrain.
DO NOT ENTER if you’ve used drugs or medication that could cause drowsiness.

No outside food or drinks allowed on property

You must wear shoes. We don't recommend high heels or flip-flops. We don't recommend wearing earrings or loose jewelry.

No flashlights, lighters, cell phone lights, videos, or flash photography is permitted inside the Hundred Acres Manor Haunted Attraction.
Cameras are permitted outside of the attraction only. Unless consent is provided by our media team in advance.

Parents / Guardians accept full responsibility/liability for their minor children by allowing them to attend this attraction to which all of the above verbiages apply. Your ticket is a revocable license and may be taken and admission refused upon refund of the purchase price. Holder of this ticket understands that there is inherent risk involved with attending this attraction. Holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers associated with participation in these attractions. In consideration and acceptance of entrance into these attractions, holder agrees to release the operator, its parent corporations, affiliates, officers, directors and employees, and landlord from any liability, harm, injury or death, cost or expense whatsoever that may arise directly or indirectly, from attending all attractions at this location.
