Halloween Lives On....

2020 season postponed

Hundred Acres Manor a 501(c)3 corporation was born seventeen (17) years ago with a philanthropic mission during the Halloween season to entertain, scare, and provide funds to local charities and families in need. Over the last 16 seasons our goal has been to create a safe environment while frightening our guests. Thanks to all of our loyal patrons, staff and volunteers we have donated over $2.4 Million to our community.

Hundred Acres Manor, a leader in our community and in the haunted house industry, has created a world renown attraction with a focus on providing a safe environment for employees and guests. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected each and every one of us and continues to plague our daily lives. Management has closely monitored the situation, met with Allegheny County Parks Department, professional disinfection service companies, and safety protocols were approved by Allegheny County Health Department keeping with all CDC, State and Local directives and guidelines.

Haunted attractions are designed to provide a close and intimate experience. While we are a non-contact attraction and can safely put into place face masks, limited capacities, disinfecting procedures, plexi-shielding, technology based scares, and social distancing protocols, none of which completely eliminate the potential transmission risk of Covid-19.

Hundred Acres Manor has thoughtfully and thoroughly considered the advise provided by medical experts. We accept our responsibility and continue to demonstrate leadership in our community and the haunted attraction industry by making this difficult decision.

Based on the best interests of our community, staff, actors, volunteers and patrons, Hundred Acres Manor will suspend the opening of the 2020 season. We will continue to re-evaluate ongoing protocol/conditions and will potentially reconsider this decision.

We will leave a Jack-O-Lantern lit. Halloween lives on and so will Hundred Acres Manor.

WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUE SUPPORT AND WISH YOU ALL HEALTH AND SAFETY DURING THIS TRYING TIME.
